Arsenal manager admitted Chile pupil who is showing signs of fatigue, but he still hesitated when deciding to stay.
After joining Arsenal from Barcelona last summer for $ 50 million, Alexis Sanchez has more than 3,100 minutes played only four games and failed to make it into the starting lineup. But the competition is much reduced efficiency. The striker has only scored four goals from the beginning of 2015, reduced productivity compared with 15 goals in the final stage last season.
Arsene Wenger admitted: "Sanchez is showing signs of fatigue and scored less. Do gameplay like effect on the game, he was in a physical fight. Maybe scoring instincts of Sanchez should he always wanted to do more tasks assigned ".
To get back to pupil performance, Wenger was forced to act aggressively.
"I gave him more time to rest, when he did not want to, I had to decide. The problem now is Arsenal still many important match and it is difficult for a player like Sanchez sidelined".
Arsenal currently ranked third with 57 points Premier League, Chelsea least seven points to lead the team. Man City and Man Utd Arsenal sandwiched in between a distance less than the correct one point.
